Booking initial FPs by smartphone- really bad idea?

Our window to book opens up tomorrow night- midnight, 1 am, something. We are returning home from a trip tomorrow night. We want A&E and hope to book when the window opens. If booking FPs is not a consideration, we would leave late enough that we will be on the road at midnight but hopefully home by 1 am. If booking A&E by smartphone is a really bad idea then I may have us leave so that we can be home before midnight. If booking is preferable on a PC but not bad on the phone then I may chance it and try to book FPs on my phone if it opens at midnight.

So, any inside info?

Used my iphone to book all ours no problems. I was too lazy to go down to the computer at midnight �� got everything we were looking for including A&E and had no problems during our trip
