Hi all,
Waiting on ROFR for my first DVC contract (BWV). As I'm fairly certain my points and membership won't be up and running until just past the 11-month mark for my January 2013 trip, I had a question.

I know when you call at 11 months (or 7 months) you can only book the first seven nights of a reservation. But does that hold true once you get past those initial days? So if I call a week after my 11-month window opens, can I reserve all 8 or 9 nights I want with one call?

Thanks for answering a dumb question from a DVC newbie! :goodvibes

Does not make any difference when you call, you can only book those first 7 nights with one call.

The 7 night restriction only applies at the window. So if you want a stay starting Jan 15, you can call on Feb 15 and get 7 nights. If you wait until Feb 20 to call, you can book 12 nights (7 + 5).

As DebbieB said, the 7-night restriction only applies if you are calling right at the 11-month or 7-month window. If you waited to call until one day past your 11-month window, you could book up to 8 nights starting with your check-in night on that call. If you waited until two days past the start of the 11-month window you could book up to 9 nights and so on.

A way to look at is that you can book a trip that ends no more than 11 months plus 7 nights from day you call. Thus,if calling at 10 months out you can book an entire month plus 7 nights.

Thanks for setting me straight. :worship: And again, sorry for the dumb question!
