booking FP+ with Orbitz ressie

Decided to go to Disney on a last minute trip....next week! If I book a room through Orbitz, can I buy tickets only from Disney, pick them up at check in,and still prebook our fast-passes? And how?

I'm pretty sure I read that Disney will give you a number you can plug into MDE to make that work. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Have a great time!

You can definitely buy tickets through Disney and book your room through Orbitz. Link your reservation to MDE and buy tickets on the Disney website. With that said, I do think you have to purchase your tickets now online in order to pre-book FP+ and then pick them up at check-in. If you want to wait and and purchase them at check-in, you won't be able to pre-book your FP+ until you get there and purchase them.

you may need to request a Disney confirmation number from Orbitz that's separate from your Orbitz confirmation number. That's what I had to do with Expedia when I went in February.

You can't get it from Disney yourself, Orbitz has to get it since they're making the reservation.

Once they got that number from Disney and passed it on to me, I was able to link it up with my Disney account and do all the Fast Pass stuff.

I booked a room-only reservation for the GF through Orbitz and was able to customize MBs and pre-book FP+s (with the 60 day window). You just need to find the Hotel Confirmation Number in the Orbitz Confirmation Email (it's six dights and probably starts with a letter like H) and link that to your MDE profile.

Also, be sure to change the address when customizing MagicBands or else Disney will send them to Orbtiz's office not you.

Is there a place on MDE that I can request to pick up my magic bands at check in? We will be there before they can be shipped to me.

If your trip is within the next 10 days (and judging by your first post, I would assume so), I believe they will have your magic bands for you upon your arrival at the resort.
