We are headed to Orlando this summer for choir tour and will be at Magic Kingdom one day. How is the best way to book FP+ for 40+ kids? Should each child setup an account, assign them a ticket and then have one person pick their FP+ and then invite the other members of their group? Should we create an account with 5 or 6 kids in each and then pick FP+ for the group?

I would love to hear from someone who has already done this for a group. We will not be staying onside, so we will only be able to book at 30 days.

I don't know what the best way is but I went with 25 people and had the head of each family group (4 groups) create their MDE account with each member of their family. I then added everyone to my personal MDE account under the friends&family part. That then allowed me to pick and change FP for the whole group.

I am a group tour director for high school bands and choirs, and visit WDW often with them. I have four trips coming up this spring, with groups from about 50 - 200 kids.

How are you getting your tickets? Most tour companies purchase the tickets and assign them to each person in the group. Before FP+, we just wrote the kids' names on the back of the tickets, then passed them out to each student when we arrived at our first park.

Now, with FP+, some companies still do that, but we want our groups to be able to book FP+, so after assigning the ticket numbers, we email that information to the group members, so they can link their ticket to their MDE account.

It seems to work best to have each individual create an MDE account, if they do not already have one, then link with the friends they want to tour around the parks with, for purposes of scheduling FP+ together. They can also just coordinate times to overlap FP+ reservations without officially linking, if that is easier.

Give the kids control of their plans, other than timing driven by performances or other itinerary demands. Just make sure you have someone who has the spreadsheet of who has what ticket number. Not everyone will be proactive about using MDE, in my experience.

However you decide to handle it, have fun!
