So I'm about to book a trip for next Christmas!!!! 4 nights/5 days in the new York. I'm just wondering if I book today and then a deal such as free meal plan comes up an I able to upgrade to it? Xxx

Yes but you would need to upgraded or add so thing so book a standard room and you could then upgrade to a plaza.

Or even book a hotel below. So SL etc.

We originally booked SL for our upcoming trip, upgraded to HNY and next week hoping to upgrade to DLH....not sure what to do if another deal comes out!
