Booking for next May?

Planning a gals 4 night get away for the Flower show. BWV, standard view 2 bedroom is our "usual."

I am thinking my friends would really appreciate SAB at BCV, which I could book, as well, but with nearly all borrowed points.

Would you take the chance? Book our usual now, then at 7 months take the chance that any 2 bedroom at BCV would be available. As I said it would be a 4, or at most 5 night vacation, including some weekend nights, since Flower Power concerts only happen on weekends.

My friends do not go to WDW nearly as often as I do, so the parks are the big draw.

I had no luck getting a 5 night stretch at BCV for early May this year at 7m, for a 2 bedroom. I could have done 3n, but we were already staying at AKV beforehand, and I didn't want to move 3 times so I stuck with my BWV standard view. In the end, it was a better choice for us. Less points

Wow! That's good to know. If I book BWV, we will be prepared to stay there.

I don't think I would borrow points UNLESS I was absolutely positive no one would back out or if they did, that I could easily use the points for another trip before they expired.

I would definitely book the standard view at 11 months and then try to switch at 7 months.

Also, will you want the dedicated with two queens or will a dedicated with 1 queen and a queen sleep sofa be OK? Just something to think about for the 7 month window, especially if you will waitlist.

Sounds like fun. I'm sure it will be great no matter which resort you choose.

Thanks for replying. Gals time, mostly for the Flower Show has been an "every other year" tradition. This will be the 4th FLower Show, and once we were together for a MNSSHP which was also fun. One time it was in Jambo house, I was able to get a value 2 bedroom as well as a value studio. The other times it has been at BWV.

Since all of the 2 bedrooms at BWV are lock offs, I am inviting friends who are OK with sleeping on a pull out. DSis and I can share the king and one friend needs a real bed due to RA.

We expect to move to FL by the end of this year. Any left over points will be used.

Lucky you! Hope you'll let us know how it goes - I think I'd love to move there, but DH thinks any temp over 72F is too hot. He won't even discuss it, LOL.

We'll, it is over 72 in NJ during summers, but we will be snowbirds because we will spend our summers in Cape May NJ. We share a vacation home there with my sister.
