Booking for a guest?

I am going to AKV in October but may have someone visiting me for a few days and need to book them a room. If I had to waitlist for their room when it came through my reservation would remain ok would it not? As I have waitlisted in the past and had a back up room booked, that has then been cancelled when my waitlist came through!!

It sounds like you would be reserving two separate rooms? One for you and one for your guests? The wait list request would be for the additional room. The only time it would impact your own reservation is if you had wait listed for a different room category/hotel under your particular reservation.

When You talk to the CM make sure they indicate that the original is not to be touched. I think as long as you have their name for the WL one it should not be a problem but I would reconfirm that with the CM before you hang up.
