Booking for a friend-points use ?

I have 25 points I will not be able to use. My brother(also a DVC memebr) can use them. I can't transfer them to his account because they are banked points. Can I make a ressie in his name? And can we use his points and my points for the same night's stay? The 1 bdrm is 16 points a night, so for two of the nights he'd have my 25, needing to kick in 7 of his own points..is that doable? Or is it exact amounts only?

You can certainly make a reservation and have it put in his name. (The confirmation will be sent to you.) However, you can't mix your points to reserve a night. You would have to be able to transfer the points into his account. I'm not an expert on this but maybe you could have him transfer his points to you and then you could make the reservation? Experts out there...?

Ahh there's an idea! Thanks for the input!

I have emailed DVC twice about my situation, once asking if they have received the deed yet, and then asking if the original owner could make ressies blah blah blah.
I get back in return how many points I have in my Sept 2003 use year. Okaaay.
AND to make it worse they said I have 131 points-- in my HH account, when I have 90 BW and 41 HH, so 131 all together, but not all HH points.(and yes, I have a previous email saved/printed form DVC stating that)

This is correct. We did this last May 2002. A friend had 9pts expiring by 5/31/2002. Needed 10pts for studio at OKW so I faxed a note of transfer to MS and they transfered 1pt from me to her then she maid the ressie for the 1st night. I followed up in the same conversation with 3 more nights and had both ressies linked. Had a great time and no problems from MS.
