Booking for 2008/2009

Hi all

I note some people already have holidays booked for later in 2008 and I was wondering how I would go about this? I'm looking to book either Sept/Oct 2008 or possibly even into 2009. Most of the big tour operator website don't give prices for next year so I don't know how to get prices and book for these times.
