Booking flights now for Holiday season?

Just curious if anyone is booking Orlando flights with air miles for the holiday season now, or are you going to wait? The air miles flight are the non-refundable level fares, correct? The have some good flight times and deals on the air miles site right now and I am very tempted!

We booked our October flights back in early February. I had been watching the prices and they kept creeping higher bit by bit. They have only gotten more expensive/more AM since we booked.

Since they changed the AM flights system, you can book the basic fare or the economy fare. The AM it quotes on initially is the basic fare and then it gives you the option for the Economy fare once you select the flight. We booked economy.

Yes - although I've never tried to change an Air Miles flight after booking it. The flight itself has change/cancellation privileges but I believe the only way to guarantee you get your Air Miles back if you need to cancel is to buy insurance.

We have Southwest points to use so I was waiting for those to open up and book from USA. I noticed we can now book flights that originate from the USA with Airmiles. There's a perfect non stop flight home with low airmiles and fees I'm thinking of booking the one way back.

I personally like connecting in the US from Orlando, and just doing customs at home. So less stressful when making connections.
