booking flights for wedding

We're due to get married at wp, then gf on feb 12 08. just wondering what all of you uk brides have done about invites? I feel like i should start to send some sort of invite or save the date cards, but don't really know how yo word it? we really want to get the flights booked asap(they're not out yet), but how do we mention that we have to book them more or less day 1, without sounding too cheeky to ask for the money?!
can any disney bride help me out on this?x

I would be interested in this too, we are looking at oct 08.
I have sent my guest information newsletters including this years prices as I work for Virgin Atlantic so I can price them up this year and give thema rough estimate.
As we cant book ours yet we asked for replys on who would be coming by end march (I sent them out last Nov) That is 18 months out and by that point I will know if we need to do a custom wedding or just an intimate wedding which I can then book through a travel agents here in the uk
