booking DME online

Does anyone know how far in advance you can book DME online-it seems happy with my arrival date of November but not my departure date of December this year. I have tried to ask Disney several times in emails and each time get the standard DME spiel trotted out and no reply to what i thought was a straightforward question! :headache:

When I called the reservation showed up on MDE right away. When I did it online it did not show, although the resv was in their system.
 
As far as I know, you can't do it online. (??) I called Disney and the CM did it for me over the phone. I told her about not being able to find a place to reserve online, and she said that they don't accept reservations for it online. It doesn't show up in my MDE either. Then again, you know how you get 10 different answers for everything depending on who you talk to.
 
Many times, DME doesn't even get the reservation until two weeks or so prior to the trip. You have to call Disney to check on it. Many times, DME will tell you they can't locate your reservation until Disney releases it. Also...we hear conflicting reports as to whether or not it's a good idea to try to book online. DVC people book online all the time, with no issues.
It's a good idea to just call Disney and have them check for you....or just have them make the reservations then.
