I'm going to DLP in May and want to try to book some dining. I read somewhere that you can book through the US dining line 407-wdw-dine. Has anyone tried that, and if not how do people from the US usually book their DLP dining.

I haven't tried booking my dining that way but when I was booking dining for a trip to WDW and I was in Turkey I used skype. It worked great!! I used a skype to phone connection. I paid for skype credit in Euros - added to my account - then called the US WDW dining line from my computer. A good thing too because I was on the phone for over an hour - one hour 15 minutes actually - and the whole charge was little over 1 Euro! Well worth it! Of course with Disneyland Paris it may not be such a time consuming effort and may not be necessary!

Unless you are going to DLP in main school holidays, theres no need to book your dining choices until you get to the resort. You can then book with the concierge at your hotel, or at City Hall on Main St Usa :).

Alternatively, you can call the French dining reservation line on 0033 160 304050.

I concur with Elaine's comments that dining is not as regimented as WDW.
Our holidays during July or at Christmas season have never had any reservations made in advance.

We booked restaurants through the hotel on arrival or on the morning that we wanted to each in places :)
