Booking Concierge via Disney then transferring to Costco the same day

I realize there are similar threads to this, but I wasn't able to find this specifically. If you book online with DCL, can you call Costco the same day to switch the reservation? IE lock in the price being a lonely gold castaway club member, then switch it that day? I'm trying to avoid the few-hour hold I had last time and just get a call back if that makes sense. But I love the great shop card. I heard of this happening with other rooms, wasn't sure if the concierge was locked out, like it is with the future cruise reservation space holders.

I don't believe there are any discounts on the price of a cruise for being a Castaway Club member. Other benefits, yes, but no discount that is currently not available to the general public. Just book it with Costco to begin with and let them know you are a CC member.

The problem with the last cruise I booked was the long wait times. I figured you could book it, and when they called you back, they could switch it. If that's not the case, I guess I'll wait on hold. Thanks. I figured you could call them back to switch it within 30 days when they weren't slammed, if that makes sense.
