Booking by phone- what am I doing wrong?

Good morning everyone- actually it's a magical morning as DH has finally agreed to go to DLP again
I've been trying and trying since yesterday to book over the phone on the English number (myparents live in the uk) but the phone is continuously engaged. Have I got the wrong number (0033 08448008898 ) or is it everyone on here -booking
Thankyou so much for your help as you can imagine I'm starting to get anxious!!!!!
Also,does anyone know if there will be Bonfire special fireworks on November 8? It seems to ring a bell with me but it may me wishful thinking?

Not much help but to call the UK it's 00 44 isn't it? I've never booked over the phone so not sure where the call centre is based.

Hopefully somebody with more experience will be on shortly to help.

I don't think you speak to anyone in France if you use the UK booking line number - the number in my DLP brochure is just 08448 008 111 (ie you don't put the France country code 0033 in front of it). I usually have to phone them either first thing (ie 8am UK time, or after 4pm UK time) and sometimes its engaged even first thing in the morning. I don't know how you would phone the UK booking number from another country, sorry . Maybe try 0044 8448 008111?

In 2010, the bonfire nights are 3rd, 5th and 8th November (just been to pick up my new brochure lol).

You need to use 00 44 then the number not including the 0. (hope that makes sense)

I've booked I'm so happy- now I have months and months to plan lol!
I still had no luck with the booking number then dug out my planning notes from our last trip and found the one I'd used then! (if anyone is having similar problems it's 00331 60 30 60 53- spoke to a lovely French CM who was really helpful)
So we're going to the Sequoia (Montana room) 7th of November for 4 nights- me DH DS and this time we're taking DN too- He's never been on a plane let alone some where as marvellous (or should I say marvel-mouse as DLP!!! It will be simply fab.

The uk no. only works if you are ringing within the uk regardless of which pre-fix you use. ive tryed it in the end i used the european no. and they transfered me.

thats great im glad you got it sorted. i was going to suggest that number but i thought you needed a uk prefix. dont know why i thought you were in the uk lol. have fun planning
