Hi,
could someone give me the low down on how to book a table at the Rose and Crown at Epcot in order to watch the fireworks from an outside table? It seems to be the most popular spot from what I can gather but I'm not sure how you book.

Many thanks
Lynne

OK you need to ring this number 001 407 WDW-DINE to make you PS.

I suggest going for a time of 7.30-8.00pm then get there a little earlier and when you go to the podium to check in and say you're checking in early because you'd like to have a patio or balcony table.

Then when you are seated take it really slow. Order drinks first and perhaps the cheese platter to share.

Then order appetizers and say you're not sure what you want to order for entrees yet.

Then order the entrees.

and then the desserts and then if you really need to string it out order more drinks and or coffees.

We did all of this and we were there and we hogged the table for over 2 hours. We tipped well to ensure that our server didn't lose out by having just the one party at that table over that time frame if you know what I mean.

Be prepared also, to NOT getting a patio table, as although you can request it, it isnt always guarenteed, as everyman and his dog thinks of the same thing!!!!:(

Don't even bother, the food is awful. The beer is awful. The decor is awful. Go to the San Angel in Mexico and then watch the fireworks afterwards.

Well I disagree with the "food and beer being awful" but then that is a matter of opinion. As far as decor goes I've never been put off with the decor inside when I'm just there for a drink. There isn't much to see decor wise outside as it's dimly lit anyway.

Admittedly it's not the best English food I've ever tasted or even the most authentic but to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be.

I wouldn't say I was a beer expert but again it tasted just fine to me - I think I've tried most of the beers at the Rose and Crown at one time or another or was it the same time ;)

When I ate there I had the Fish and Chips - I know that's boring but I just really fancied it - and it wasn't a bad job.

I tasted all my dining companion's pies in his pie sampler and I thought that all the pies tasted yummy.

The Rose and Crown food isn't the best food you'll get in EPCOT my peronsal favourites are Le Cellier and Teppanyaki. But coupled with the view of the fireworks and the service it was good value for money.
