Booking at a Universal hotel?

When staying at a Universal hotel, does that automatically make you eligible for using your room key as an express pass? in other words, even if i booked the room via AAA, just the simple fact that i have a Universal hotel, entitles me to the express pass "feature"?

also, where can a person find menus and pricing for "movie and meal deals" that are offered at city walk?

All stays at the three Universal Orlando hotels get express entry regardless of the rate you paid. You get express for the day you check-in (even as early as 8:00 am) and the day you check-out. So even if you stay only one night, you get two days of express.

it doesn't matter which discount you use to pay for your on site room.

the hotel key does not reflect that.

just a hotel key card is what you will receive.

check the universal website and city walk website for info on the meal and movie deals.

yes.
your name, date are on the cards.

when the TM swipes your hotel key card in the hand held device, it will show if the card is valid.


sometimes they swipe them, sometimes they don't

Express is the best thing since sliced toast!

Express Pass is one of the things that made staying on the property for us , also, the convenience and the hotel was great!

We're already planning to stay onsite in a couple of years when we go, let's hope that they don't get rid of Express Pass.
