Booking AKV

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but when can non-AK owners start booking there?

Reportedly, non-AKV owners may begin making reservations on June 4, 2007. AKV owners may begin on May 16, 2007.

I thought the non-owner's date was June 6. On June 6, we'll be in the depths of Grand Tetons, so I figured I couldn't call til we got back. But if it's June 4, that's the day we leave, and I may be able to call first thing in the morning.

We're hoping to stay there early December. Didn't realise that they haven't started taking bookings yet. We thought that we'd be phoning up in a couple of days as we'd be getting into the 7 month window, but obviously now we'll have to wait a little longer.

No, I don't think so. Owners can book 11 months out, so I assume I would be able to make a reservation for early next April if I called May 16.

No, it's for any reservation that falls within the 11 month booking window. I'll be making March AKV reservations on May 16.

i'd follow the regular 7 month window as a non-owner @ AK?

Here is the answer from the DVC Member's website.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas Members can now make reservations for stays beginning on July 2, 2007 at this exciting new Resort. Starting June 6, 2007, other Disney Vacation Club Members can book for stays beginning July 2, 2007. Space is limited for the initial dates, but more rooms will be available as these distinctive Resort accommodations are introduced.
