Booking AKV CL at 7 months out?

I am seriously thinking about adding on 100-150 points at AKV just to be able to enjoy a long weekend every now and then on CL. I know that there are only five 2 BR lock-offs available, so I'm thinking that owning there is really the only way I'd ever be enjoy this, but I am curious. Has anyone ever had any luck booking AKV CL at only 7 months out?

We did it last year. A friend booked a 1 bedroom at the 7 month mark for the end of June. I believe it was Friday to Tuesday. We did the Sunrise Safari on Sunday, it was awesome!

We did last year for the beginning of June. Unfortunately we had to cancel it due to work issues.
