Booking airfare,is it too early

for our early Sept trip and I just booked our flights yesterday. We fly out of BDL in CT and both SWA and Delta have been holding steady at $260 R/T. Well last night Delta dropped to $190 (its already back to $260!) and I was able to snag the low fare. This actually happened at the same time last year. My paperwork shows I booked on 7/1 last year so maybe Delta likes to drop their fares for a day!!!

My advise is to look every day, several times per day. I especially like that on Delta you can see how many seats are still open. I am an airfare gambler and, so far, have not been burned but I know the day is coming!!!
