Did any one do this? Was this hard on your guests? I only have vacation in the summer so i can only get to disney a month after we want our wedding date... (july 08 for june 09)

Thanks again!!!

You can't confirm your locations til 8 months out, so you won't be missing anything by going down 11 months early.

Whether the sites you want are available at 8 months depends on which ones you want. We had no trouble getting ours 5 or 6 months out because they were less popular. The Wedding Pavilion is the most popular ceremony site, and sometimes people have to go into a lottery for the same date and time. But, again, that won't happen til 8 months out anyway! :thumbsup2

thank you! If the wp doesnt turn out we'll have it somewhere else lol

We booked a little after the 10 month mark for a late June wedding. And had no problem at all. When we were down for the site visit, we made the decision to only look at locations that weren't already booked so we could lower our chances of ending up in a lottery. It worked out perfectly for us.

I booked the WP, ADH and Upper French Terrace in late February 08 for my wedding on 10/25/08. I'm having 130 guests mostly from out of town and have not had any negative feedback about the notice. And i had no trouble at all getting the places and dates I wanted.

i booked my jan wedding at the end of august. i was trying for december, but my family put their foot (feet) down at that. we had a few people who couldn't come, but i'm not sure they would have had i given them more notice.

thats the way i feel, like "if I do wait a little longer whose to say they'll come"
