Booking ADRs With DDP

We are now at the stage where I need to start making ADRs for our trip in September.

I have been looking at the menus on Disney's website and some of them need to be paid in full at the time of booking. We have got the free DDP and so will not be paying for our meals.

Presumably I can still book these, but do I need a DDP reference? Will Disney recognise our First Choice booking reference or do I need to get a DDP reference from First Choice?

You shouldn't need any reference numbers when booking an ADR, you will need a credit card to book CRT or Storybook Princess at EPCOT - they charge you if you don't turn up, but when you have your meal just tell them your on the DDP and the cost of the meal doesn't go onto your credit card.

We used the DDP last year, be warned you will put on weight - it's a good job we weren't charged for our own excess weight on the way home

Hi Steve

You do not have to pre pay any meals, the 2 TS restaurants will take a
USD20 deposit from your credit card in case you dont show thats all.
It wont recognise your booking ref unless you booked direct with Disney
just keep trying and after about 3 goes the service will put you through to
a CM anyway they will ask if you are on the dinning plan.

I was asked for my credit card details to book storybook princess and the fantasmic package in case I don't turn up. They did not charge me anything for making the booking.

I only just booked mine and perhaps I got that bit wrong then. I booked a few and I was so chuffed at getting all I wanted I probably didnt hear the CM properly
