We are going to WDW in October with my sister and her family. We are staying DVC on points, and we won't be adding the dining plan (we'll pay cash). My sister and her family are staying at POP, and they will be on the DDP.

There are 12 of us in all, and for one meal, we'll have 2 more people (total of 14).

I'm assuming I need to call to book these, since they will be for a large party, but I'm wondering what information I will need to have when I call...

-do I need their reservation numbers?
-does it matter whether we are all paying using different methods?

If you're within 180 days of your arrival then you won't need reservation numbers. If you're booking at 180 days and staying onsite then you would be able to make the reservations under your name and reservation number for the entire party.

How you choose to divide the bill at the restaurants isn't something you need to discuss when making reservations.

I believe you can make online reservations online for parties of 10 or smaller. A few of the signature restaurants required me to call for our party of 9.

Hope this helps.
