Booking ADR's at 180+10, then switching to off-site?

We are currently booked for POR and I will be making our ADR's beginning May 27. I know staying on-site I can do 180+10. However, there is a possibility that DH may be getting deployed in September. If and when he does, my mom will go with us instead, but we will be staying at their timeshare offsite. Therefore, the amount of people in the party will remain the same, but will my ADR's cancel if I have to cancel the resort reservation....are they linked and will I have to start all over again with ADR's?

No, it's not really 180 + 10; that just confuses people. I don't know who started calling it that but that's not what it means.

What it means is if you are staying onsite, you can call at 180 days from your check in date and book all your ADRs up to 10 days worth.

Just bumping to see if anyone knows the answer. I especially don't want to lose my Thanksgiving day ADR.

I think (don't quote me) that if you were to modify your reservations before the 170 day mark- there's a possibility that you could lose any ressies that are more than 180 days out.

If you were to change out to the time share after that, you might not.

I would confirm ALL of your ADRs if you're within the 180 day window of all of them before you change your accommodation location.

However- I've never done this; so hopefully someone who has will answer this also.
