Booking a trip for another family on your MDE profile?

We are looking to surprise my parents with a WDW trip for their 50th anniversary. Since all my family will be together in Disney World for Marathon Weekend, we want to book a trip for them that week also so they can see the grandkids. Is there a way to book the trip for them on my MDE account without having to set up profiles for them? Ultimately I would want them to have their own MDE and control their trip once we present it to them.

You can set them up as F&F in your MDE, then after they create their own MDE account you can use the Update Guest function to link their profiles in your MDE to their new MDE account. The reservation, tickets, ADRs, etc. will (should) automatically transfer over to their profiles in the new account.

If you knew what email address they’d use for their MDE account, I guess you could set it up yourself, but then they’d start getting emails and messages and spoil the surprise!
