Booking a reservations then reducing number of nights

I want to tent camp for 2 nights over labor day weekend. The online system and over the phone will not let me book 2 nights but I can book 7 nights. I know I have read on here how I can just call and change to two days but I wondered if I needed to make the reservation start on the day I want to check in or if I wanted to stay wed/thur can I book sat-sat and then just change to wed/thur only?

And - is there a way online to book with annual pass discount or florida resident discount? Or can those discounts only be made online.

last question - If I book for a week, then call back tomorrow to reduce to just two night, if they cant change it will I be able to get a full refund then?

I don't think that it matters what days you book initially.

I don't know anything about annual passes.

As long as you book just the campsite (room only), you will get your money refunded.

If there are annual pass or FL discounts available they can usually be found on Disney's website. If you book thru the link on the Disney site or passhold site you should be able to book the discounted reservation on line.

That said---it is sometimes easier to just call about discounts than it is for me to find the right link on the websight

You will only pay for 1 night deposit, then balance on arrival. If your rate is different for the 2 nights they will refund the difference.
