Booking a Cruise-Price changes

My friend wants to book her first DCL cruise, they are booking the lowest category, which all that is available is a 10C(on the Magic), if a lower one comes available before her payoff date(so it wuld be less money), can she change it(kind of like a downgrade)? Thanks for any help, I think the answer is yes, but want to check.

Yes, if one becomes available before the payoff date, AND there is room for her entire party in the lifeboat station for the new room, she will be able to downgrade.

Ok thanks, we have only upgraded before, so wasn't sure. They are so excited for their first cruise, they will hopefully love it like we do.
