Anyone know when you can start booking 2017? Is it about 18 month out?

Package prices are generally announced mid-summer for the following year. You cannot book a package until then. Room-only can be booked 500 days in advance, but the price is not guaranteed. You will pay a 1-night's deposit for the room based on the current rack rate in order to hold your reservation. Room rates usually come out for the next year just prior to the announcement for packages.

Just a heads-up that to book at 500 days out, you have to call the Disney reservation line. You can't do it on the web site.

I rather call anyway and did so for my room only 2016 reservations.... on the first day I could do so!
