Is it just me or is there really no way to book 2 rooms for a family of 7 on the Disney website?

Two rooms--even for one family--are two reservations. And I haven't seen any way for the Disney website to process more than one reservations at a time.

Call Disney directly. You shouldn't have any problems.

Edited to add:

D'oh! Just noticed you're from Iceland. That's an expensive call!

Alternative: Book the two rooms separately. If there is a space for request (I think it's very short), type something like "link to 2nd res" on the first one, then on the second one "link to res #_____. You might be able to go into the first reservation and note "link to res #_____ (second reservation).

I haven't booked online since 2003, so I'm pretty rusty. I'm sure someone with more current experience will be along shortly! :)

We just booked 2 rooms for Oct 11-18. They charge them as two separate rooms. No discount for being considered one family.

I´m o.k. with them charging them as 2 seperate rooms, since they are. However, I´m surprised that I can´t make one reservation for 2 rooms on the website.

Disney Travel Agents and CRO can do it through their website - it cannot be done through the regular Disney website unfortunately.

Since I have access to the TA website, I'd be happy to check prices for you if you PM me your dates and travel party info. At least it will save you an expensive call. ;)

I book all my non Disney resort rooms on the internet and there are just a few places that will ask for an option on how many rooms. For example, I looked at doing a reservation at a very upscale place in Nashville, Tennessee for our family - six adults and two children. I couldn't do it online, my mother-in-law called instead.

I know PrincessNoelle'sMom offered help and I'd take her up on it. Or, PM me and I'll call for you. We American's aren't all that bad!

Interesting. I´ve booked 2 rooms many times through websites in different countries. But you´re right. You American´s aren´t at all that bad at all ;) I guess that´s why we come back year after year (sometimes twice a year) and put all our money into your economy :woohoo:

I took PrincessNoelle´sMom up on her offer and she has been great :thumbsup2

I always book two rooms and it is a shame that it can not be done on-line......I have to call (and usually stay on hold) every time. Maybe one day they will fix that.:confused3
