DH, me, DD-20 with DD's boyfriend-20 and DD-9 will be on the
Oct 11th western cruise. We will 2 staterooms in cat 11 and cat 6. We are celebrating our 24th anniversary on this cruise. Can't wait for Palo's, a few trips to the spa, Castaway Cay and alot of disney magic. This is our 3rd cruise, have done the 3 day and the 7 day eastern .

Hi, we are first time disney cruisers on the August 10, 2003, Wonder. We are from Las Vegas and we are taking our two boys (ages 11 and 8) on their first trip to Florida. Land & sea package starting on August 7, 2003. We are used to the "dry" heat here but I am concerned about the humidity there in August. I don't see anybody posting about that particular cruise. Is this a very unpopular time to take a cruise or are all of our fellow cruisers just not accessing this web site??

August ig going to be hot - thats for sure! It is also a popular time as it is prior to the kids going back to school.. don't worry there will be lots of people onboard.

As for heat -

Much of what you do onboard the ship is indoors and the air conditioning is blissful.

Up on decks there is usually a nice breeze to keep you cool.

The only time you are really going to feel it is if you go on a shore excursion... it's going to be hot and humid for sure.

A little heat is not going to stop you! Have a great holiday and welcome to the DIS boards.
