Booked tour that doesn't exist?

I booked the Family Magic Tour back in October for April through signature services. I paid, I have a reservation number. We are going in 3 weeks, so I've already done all the fast passes, meal reservations, etc. This includes securing the Avatar rides and fast passes that are no longer available.

Last night, i went on, to see if it lists the rides we'd go on for fine-tuning fast passes. I have a 4 and 9 year old who are excited for the tour. I look and it says "please note, the tour does not happen on Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday. (these are the 3 days of the week we will be at the Magic Kingdom). It is also our last day at Magic Kingdom.

If not for the tour, we would have only done the morning in the park, particularly because of the long travel day the next day. Now, I have fast passes in the afternoon, and 2 of them are not available at other times that day. (space mountain and the cars).

What should I do? Do I contact signature services NOW and ask what is up, and ask if they could magically change our fast passes to the am? Do I wait until I arrive and ask at the Club desk? Do I just show up to the tour and see what they do at Guest services?

If I've already paid for something will they contact me if that item doesn't exist anymore?

Thoughts?

It wouldn’t be unheard of for the website to have incorrect info, especially that level of detail. If DSS booked and you paid for a tour on a certain date, I’d suspect it’ll run on that date.

But yes, you need to call to discuss.

Definitely call them. If they had to cancel something that you reserved, paid for, and have a confirmation #, they will either find a way to make it happen or jump through hoops to make it up to you. Happened to us once and they were ultimately able to fix it, but promised me plenty of "fairy dust" if they could not. Call sooner rather than later though, and have your confirmation # and other info handy.

Many times they will change the "official" days they offer tours, while continuing to honor tours that were previously booked. That happened with us on a Pirate Cruise at CBR. While the cruise was no longer officially offered on the day we went it had been previously booked under the "old" schedule and they still planned on having it

Thank you. Calling them makes sense. Hopefully we could still do it. It looked like a fun thing for my boys. (huge imaginations and they love mysteries) They seem to be the perfect ages for it too so now or never. (I'm not sure when we will be back)

Update- I called and they confirmed it is scheduled. So I'll have faith that all is good. I booked everything so far in advance (ie. restaurants at 6 months, fast passes at 60+10. My one son has multiple severe food allergies and I was sending in my special diets form (a form where we list all the allergies). I just decided before I send in the form I'd go over everything again. My oldest commented 'no crystal palace?' which led me to rework some dining reservations. Then, I saw the potential issue.

oy. Hopefully all smooth sailing from now on...

Not surprised. Disney does a good job of keeping reservations, fixing mistakes, and making it up to guests when they can't. The airlines that fly you to and from Orlando? Not so much.

Glad it all worked out and confirmed for you. Please share your experience about the tour upon return.

Actually there was nothing to fix as it wasn't a Disney mistake, the tour did exist and was scheduled to take place on two additional days during the third week in April. The days offered do vary occasionally.
