Booked our first DLP trip for May/June half term

We'd been considering Center Parcs, as we wanted something with appeal for both us and my two kids (13 & 14.5).... the last couple of family hols to WDW have been marred by my eldest's lack of interest in anything except her favourite park rides, and, sadly, it looks as though we'll not be repeating that in the forseeable future (although Amanda and I will probably be back there later this year, sans enfants!)... so.... we've decided to give DLP a shot. Booked 5 nights in the DCR cabins, thinking we'll do days/part days at the two parks and also take some trips out to Paris and other attractions.

I'm just starting to absorb the info on the forum, and may have a few more questions later. For starters, are the Extra Magic Hours any good? We found them 'ok' in Florida, but only at certain parks. Where can I find which days they apply?

Where's the nearest decent supermarket for stocking up when we arrive? Are the BBQs solid fuel or gas?

Any must-do's or must avoids?

I think the BBQ's are solid fuel, I have never stayed there so i'm not entirely sure.

There is a massive Auchan supermarket close by at the Val D'Europe shopping centre.

I would recommend buy the Brits Guide to Disneyland Paris by Simon Veness, a very good source of info.

It is only the Disneyland Park that is open for EMH

The BBQ is solid fuel which I'm sure is available at Auchan.

BTM is slated as much better than WDW so this should be on your list
