For all of you seasoned DCL'ers out there . . .

We have just returned from our first cruise, and the only negative thing we can say about it is that 3 days are way too short!!!! We booked a Nov. 2006 7-day on board to get the discount, but we are probably going to try to change it to a 2007 date if they ever open them up for ressies.

I know I've read threads here before about transferring your res to a travel agent, etc. Any words of wisdom on what we should do/what we should check, etc., in order to get the best price if we do decide to change our date? I know we will get whatever the on-board deal is from DCL at the time we change -- is it usually the 10% / $200 credit that we got, or does it vary? Also, does anyone know if that is $200 per stateroom or per booking -- we have two staterooms, and I forgot to ask that question.

Thanks for any and all advice you can offer!!!

Personally, I'd wait until you settle on your actual dates, then shop around for a good TA to transfer to at that point.

Shop your qoute around and see if any one can get it lower. ou have nothing to lose. Make sure that they keep your $200 booking credit.

If you have a CC member in each room then you should be receiving 200 per stateroom.
