Booked next summer

Well done on the flights Wayne. I have loads of miles to use as well. I have 75,000 VA miles and 26000 BA miles. Already booked for next year, so VA sale no good for us, as I used the last of my stash of tesco points.

It looks from your dates, that you'll be flying home, the day we fly in, so that's another DIS meet missed. One year we will catch you all.

Well done! Looks like a great deal.
I'll keep checking this thread in the hope that some other good deals come along for July/Aug.
Don't think I'll get much of a deal as I don't have many airmiles and I want to fly in via New York and back out of Miami:rolleyes:

Just booked our flights using the Virgin air mile sale. :cool1: 50,000 for the 2 of us plus £260 each for taxes. Would never use the air miles any other way so I view it as a return flight for £260, which as I pointed out to DBF is less than some return trains from Manchester to London ...... Go figure:confused3

Now just need a heavily discounted sale on Disney hotels and we're set :wizard:

Sounds like you got a bargain Wayne. We are stuck (for the first time ever) with having to go during school holidays next year so I will be keeping my eyes peeled for flights. Looking to fly out around 9th August for 21 nights so if you come across any bargains, let me know ;) I have got in excess of 100K of VA airmiles so I am praying they might release some reward seats just before we go away (not holding my breath though).

We're more than likely going to look at flying into/out of Miami as DH wants to do a few days in the Keys. Thought it might be a cheaper option but it's not looking like it at the moment.

Good luck, will let you know if I see anything.
Every year I am considering more far fetched routes instead of MCO/TPA, I have started checking JAX, MIA, FLL, SRQ & more.
For next month into MCO or TPA I am struggling for sub £600 with 2 stops from MAN, bring LON into the mix and alternative US airports and I can get as low as £365 and 1 stop or just a few £ more direct LON~MIA and 1 stop home. Just a lot of hassle for 7 nights.:confused3

Sorry ignore that, I am getting mixed up, you only need 12.5k miles for a Combifare just now, its 25k for a return fare. You have enough, if you find a date with availability might be worth ringing to check the cost.

Quick question Wayne - are the figures you quoted for economy seats? Any idea the miles needed for p.e for combi fares?

Wayne I have no idea how these flights with miles work.I have 24000 plus the ones from this time so will be around 32000 DB will have 16000.Canwe combine our miles and what would we get if anything? Would be for end aug next year.

We managed to take advantage of the Reward seat sale also and got flights for 25k miles and about £270pp. We are DVC members anyway so hotels sorted and have AP's for our trip next week.

Cheap Trip for us unless i can convince DH to book a 4 night dream cruise when we are on the Magic in 10 days :)
