Took the plunge and booked the flight 3rd to 22nd August from Gatwick. Happy with the price but only because its PE on the way back. Thanks for posting Wayne as had been looking at miles and money but economy only so kept coming back that it was unavailable. Wouldn't have thought to look one way PE. Aso went ahead and booked SSR through Complete Orlando. Very impressed as they called within 5 minutes asking me if I would like to add magical express. Hopefully will get to the meet this year as missed it last August.

That was one of the funniest things i have ever seen, a great night really hope we can do it again next year , Glad you northeners are starting to say the word Buzz correctly, think Matt found us saying Buzz even funnier than nige falling off the Buzz

Well done Wayne and nigel at least you can get planning now . Its good when you can get a price your happy with. We were hoping to go august but I am on placement so have to go later. 2012 will be august though. Have decided on cruise but may do 7 night western but need to look into it if not 4 night bahama.My mom coming and she has always wanted to do a cruise so need to do some pricing up.If we do 4 night cruise will stay on site I think but if 7 night will stay off site as will have to do cheaper 7 nights but have to weigh up car hire plus paying for meals instead of free DDP though will eat in offsite places. The added factor being dont want to be a room for ten nights with my mom(not meant nastily but want a bit of privacy) so may have to do DVC. Anyway well done guys and marty you need to get cracking.You have the cruise booked-ur waiting for a bargain again arnt you

Read up on it, its literally money for nothing. been doing it for 6 years now had approx £2,000 casback.
Last week I got £45 from Aviva insurance when I took out a policy for £153. Tonight got £75 cashback from Virgin Atlantic for flights. Even give you money without spending, like Go compare £1.50 to do a car insurance search.

I can't agree more! We've been doing it for a couple of years and had £500 cashback, for stuff that we would have been buying anyway.

hey- congrats Wayne- I'm always tempted to follow your lead as you clearly know what you're doing! hadn't even thought of miles plus money for PE one way, missed that boat for our days, grr.

Anyway- just wanted to let ppl know that Virgin holidays are starting to include some more dates with economy flights. They've only ever offered my PE flights, so who knows that might be changing. Still over the odds price wise, but they're getting there!

Yes I booked online for our relatives using our miles and then another booking for ourselves. What date you wanting to return?

Had a look and can't see any flights leaving after 5th August on this offer. Keep looking they might release some.

I have mixed views on best time to go in August, it used to be easy, US kids go back to school mid August and everywhere was quieter. This year was not quite the same, yes the parks got a little quieter but from the 18th August when US free dining kicked in the restaurants were packed solid.
Upto the 18th we had no problem changing reservations while we were there, places were quieter, some we went in like Captains Grille were half empty, after teh 18th not a chance of changing anything, every seat in every restaurant full and no walk ups available.
Next year US free dining starts 19th August, I guess a similar pattern to this year.
