Just booked HHI in January to try something different for a change. Can't beat the point value.

What kind of things are there to do at the Resort in January.

We plan on fishing, but it is offered at the resort in January?

We love the studios at OKW & Vero, think we will enjoy HHI's too. They look spacious and I love having the two rocking chairs on the patio. Have they been recently renovated? And if so, what did they do.

There really isn't much info on the resort itself on dvcmember.com Disney needs to do a better job at that. I hope you all Disney fanatics can help me make the most of our trip.

When I come back, plan on a full review with lots of pictures. That's a guarantee.

Add personal opinions about the resort. I'm dying to read what you all have to say.

i really have to get my pictures ready so i can upload them for moments like this...we were there in august and there was a basket with fresh cut wood, one cm told us it was for a fireplace and asked if we ever came to HHI in Dec/Jan when they light the fires. I said no, but thought we'd definitely have to try after she told us how great the resort was at that time~really cozy...and we loved the rocking chairs on the patios too! :cloud9: have a great time!

You're never crazy booking HHI-even in January. Needless to say, we love the resort and we always go off-season. One of the best parts of going in January is curling up in Big Murgie's Den with warm apple cider and cranberry nut cookies. Here's the view from one of our favorite studios in the main lodge, #1134-

Great picture.

I'm from Upstate NY, but have been in FL for 10 years. Let's say I'm ready for a little taste of winter.

Do you have any interior pics of the studio?

The low point cost for January makes it a great place to spend some time and unwind in January!
