Booked this morning for last two weeks of Oct 2011, so excited:cool1::cool1::cool1:

We've been back a month and I have spent the last week or two looking at options and waiting for flights to be released.

Well this morning on thomas cook Floridays resort popped up - 3 bedroom grand condo for 14 nights for 3 of us just over £2000 inc flights. Not sure if glich or special offer but I spoke to DH and booked it!

We are flying with US airways from Manchester, just one change and good flight times. We always used to do indirect flights before DD so i'm sure she will be fine. She will be almost 6 this trip.

Plan is to do seaworld, universal and MNSSHP plus shopping (v important!)

Last two trips have been full on disney onsite and we have missed the other stuff we used to enjoy and eating offsite.

We loved october and as DD gets two weeks off school it is the obvious time for us to go.

So has anyone stayed at floridays, any tips on which block to request?

Well done, great deal, I am almost certain its a mistake. Just checked a random 2 weeks next Oct(14th-28th) for room only on TC site

Its showing a 2 bed at £92/nt + tax, total for 14 night £1,434.72
but a 3 bed at £49/nt + tax, total for 14 nights £762.44

Cheapest I can see elsewhere Alpharooms at £1199.87 (TC are almost never cheaper than Alpharooms)

That is not right for a 3 bed at this resort, looks like you have got yourself a bargain. :thumbsup2

Gets very good reviews. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_...Floridays_Resort_Orlando-Orlando_Florida.html

Like us, looking forward to offsite again for our next trip.:goodvibes

Yes they wanted hundreds more for a 2 bed, which made me think it was a glitch. Will use spare room to keep cases in!

I read the first 9 pages of trip advisor all very positive then booked it before deal could diappear.

I know where the resort is and like that end of I drive - some good restaurants we like nearby.

Wayne can I be cheeky and say I need you to find a car hire glitch and a half price airport parking deal like last year:rotfl2:

A glitch would be good wouldn't it. Next year is the 1st year for years I haven't found a glitch for some part of our trips.

For parking at Manchester (I assume MAN) I am using Park & Go who I used last year, 2 weeks (15 days) Meet & Greet £55 less 7% code = £51.15 less 5% cashback = £48.59

No info to offer you but congratulations!!! So nice that you have something to look forward to again. Great news about the deal too :thumbsup2

You forgot to ask him to arrange grocery and restaurant coupons to cover your food for the two weeks.

Thanks that's a pretty good price for parking (we do fly from manchester), but may hold fire for a bit.

I'm good for restaurant coupons, last couple of trips I signed up for everything under the sun and keep getting xmas offers at the moment from them all - so tempting.

Will sign up again just before next trip.

Been showing DD clips of universal and our old photos. It was xmas 2003 when DH and I last did universal so time for a revisit I think.

You can really milk it with the build up for your DD. My daughter is always fascinated by anything I did before she was born - as if nobody could possibly have been alive before she was here :rotfl:
