Booked for August

Actually, American is fine at JFK. They have a nice terminal (terminal 8). Unlike the third world delta terminal (terminal 2).

i'm pretty sure you fly both into and out of terminal 8, so it's really easy.
But i have to check that to make sure.
oh wait - you're flying out of dublin, then i'm sure you fly into terminal 8.
That's fantastic. It's soooooo easy as you'll be in the same terminal coming in from dublin and heading out to miami. Easy shmeezy.
And they have two business lounges, one for domestic and one for international, so you'll have access in both directions.

.

With 2 mins of you posting this I got an email from the agent confirming the flights and terminals, you are correct in and out of Terminal 8.:thumbsup2
We have 2hr 28mins in JFK, hopefully chance to use their lounge.

Delighted to read you got a bargain :thumbsup2

Is it a 'boomerang' flight or will you return to Dublin?

Back to Dublin, boomerang flights were quite a bit more, cheaper to do it this way.
Looks like Matt is staying on to do a MA & PhD, had meeting this week, submitted personal statement for MA, now has to do a proposal for PhD. plus try get some funding. Plenty of time(4 years) for another coffee meet in Lancaster.:goodvibes

He really likes the work by one of the lecturers at Lancaster http://www.ling.lancs.ac.uk/profiles/claire-hardaker
He has taken a real interest in Forensic Linguistics over the past few months and feels there is a lot of research needs to be done. A bit different to being a journalist when he started Uni.:rotfl:

i totally get it Wayne!! Being a language person, i can see how that would be VERY VERY VERY interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2
and to be paid for doing something like that? well, how perfect can life be!!

Must have been the day for it, hadn't planned a trip to Fl in 2015 but couldn't resist ...,

VA flight LHR to Atlanta then Atlanta to Key West Int 4th August

Daytona to Atlanta with Delta then VA from Atlanta to LHR on 20th August

3 adult economy fares for the grand total of £1488 inc cc fees

More than happy with that and get to explore the keys, something we've been wanting to do for years.

I think we had a couple of nights in Key West last year, wasn't enough so planning on a few more nights there next year, 4 or 5 probably. :goodvibes

Booked our flights last night, into Miami on 6th August, back from MCO on the 29th.
My options
Economy from MAN £924
Business class from MAN £1808
Booked Business class from Dublin £826pp:thumbsup2

Just need to get to and from Dublin now.:rotfl:

Great News, we fly to MCO on the 11th and out on the 30th, 4 day Dream Cruise in the middle. What's your itinerary / plans? :cool1:

I can't even remember when we're flying to Orlando. Maybe the 14th August?
Two long days in Disneyland Paris has scrambled my brains :lmao:

:goodvibes

Glad you got booked up Wayne. Great price for business flights too :thumbsup2.

I'm delighted to hear it - I had been wondering ........ :goodvibes. Hope he is successful getting some funding.

I'm in Florida 7-27 January, but I'll get in touch with Matt when I get back :).

We're doing 7 nights on the Magic and the reason for choosing the Western Caribbean was that we get to visit Key West - without the drive down from Miami. I've bought City Trolley tours day pass for Key West, and have arranged car hire for Cozumel and Grand Cayman ::yes::.

Fly into Miami on 6th, stay in airport hotel overnight, drive to Miami for a few days (4-5) spend a few days (4-5) travelling up to Orlando, about a week there then 7 night western Caribbean cruise with DCL, fly home 29th.

I could have got flight to Key West for exactly the same price as Miami but we enjoyed the drive down last year doing same again. We did the Trolley tour on our first visit, great way to get around.
IIRC Key West isn't on our cruise, its Jamaica instead. Don't think Key West can dock the bigger ships.

That sounds about right. I remember the 29th bit at least :lmao:
Joseph is loving the rides here in Disneyland Paris so can't wait til next he is a bit bigger and can go on even more!

:goodvibes

Only seems like yesterday Matt was gutted because he wasn't big enough to take his Grandmas on Kraken, they grow up far too quick.

You're not kidding!
Joseph saw Space Mountain and immediately wanted to go on it! Thankfully he's just as happy with the smaller rides for now but he is definitely going to be a thrill seeker :)
