We were on the last Med cruise of the season in September and absolutely loved it. This was our second
Disney cruise, and whilst we weren't 100% convinced about cruising, the med cruise totally won us over
If this is your first cruise, then the Med is ideal, as it is more like a portable hotel as you have so many shore days. The Disney service is fantastic, and lots of people who were regular cruisers said that the Disney service was way above most other cruise companies.
Dining - For formal night, people do tend to dress up, but a tux is certainly not a necessity, and if you don't fancy dressing up at all there is always the buffet or room service. There was a pirate night where it is optional to dress up. You can request a table for yourselves, we didn't and thoroughly enjoyed the company of who wer were sat with, and even met up with them a few weeks later in Florida. Palos brunch is a must!
Ports - The ports are all fantastic

In just a few days we totally fell in love with Italy, and the Amalfi coast is amazing. We did a mixture of Disney port adventures and self organised, with some as a result of joining up with people on this forum. The Disney tours are good, but tend to be with a large group of people. My favourite tours tended to be those organised ourselves as you had a maximum group of about 8 and it was far more personal and you get a better insight into the area. Plus they normally worked out cheaper
You will have a fantastic time. Its a fantastic ship, with fantastic service, amazing food, and great ports of call. An all round winner
