Ok...so we have a booked excursion in GC. The duration for the "Beach Break" is 4 hours. We would leave for the excursion at 12:30 ...I have looked at old navigators and they all have read the last tender is at 4:30. OK, well a 4 hour excursion would be 12:30 - 4:30 and we would miss the boat (literally). I called DCL today and they said the bus picks up at 4:15 and the boat leaves at 5.?! I really don't want to swim to the boat. We leave on Sat. and I know I need to decide if I am going to cancel/change because of the 2 day prior policy.

Anybody know about the transportation for this excursion? Or if these DCL would take responsibility to ensure that the passengers get back in time to the tenders. 4:15 seems a bit tight to me. On the bottom of my confirm. sheet it states "DCL acts only as the sales/reservation agent of the excursion operators."

Advice? Information?

If you booked the excursion through DCL, they would most likely hold the ship until you returned. That happened to us on an RCCL cruise, and the ship did not leave until we returned.
