Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know that Christmas at the Fort is able to be booked....called tonight, and was able to book it with my credit card. She said I was the first one (wow!) and it had just been loaded into the system, so if you had the dining plan, it would take a day or so to be able to book it with that, but paying with cc was fine. Times are for 12/25 at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. $45 for adults, $25 for ages 3-10. Dining plan will take 2 table service credits.

Anyone attended this in the past?

What is Christmas at the Fort? I've never heard of this. Any info would be appreciated. :)

Just booked it! At first the CM said I had to call at the 180 window but then she checked and was able to book it :)

We are 55+ disney addicts and we loved Christmas at the Fort. We did it last year at the 2:00PM show. The food is outdoor buffet holiday dinner. You are seated under a big tent. You walk into the food area, take your plates and help yourself. You are seated at picnic tables and it is open seating. You can go back to the buffet table as often as you like. Entertainment is Holiday/Country and fun for all.

Really? The CM told me it was inside the HDDR building. :confused3 We even talked about balconey vs. floor seating.

Hopefully someone can clear this up because I'll be cancelling if it's outdoors.

Allearsnet says it is at the Fort Wilderness pavillion. That is the outdoor pavillion where they used to have Mickey's BBQ, I believe. If it is important to you, i would definitely call back and double check.

So is Christmas at the Fort just a Christmas version of Mickey's BBQ?

The menu looks different, but it does say a live country band and line dancing!

The CM I spoke with wasn't EXACTLY sure since this was new last year, but she said the description was exactly Mickey's Backyard BBQ, with the exception of it being holiday themed and having a different menu. I was not told about it being in the HDDR building? They are having HDDR that evening as normally scheduled, so I would not think that Xmas at the Fort would be going on there. We have not done Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and since the last show of that before it goes on hiatus was on the 30th of December, we figured we would kill 2 birds with one stone and do it this way! :cool1:
