Book~

I love that.

I haven't read the entire thing yet, because I think my brother had it for his senior french class or something, but I read the first bit of it and I loved it. My french teacher loves this book, and like he says, it is one of those books you could read when you were little and enjoy it and still love it as you are older. It's timeless. I think it's offered in the english language, but it's so much better in french.

I've seen the movie, and read the translation. I plan to read the french version.

I'm currently reading Attack of the Clones, and I love it.

I really liked Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry. In my Language Arts class, we are going to read The Giver, also by Lois Lowry.

I also like a few books by Caroline B. Cooney.

My favorites are:

Twilight/New Moon - Stephanie Meyer
Smack - Melvin Burgess
Confessions of Georgia Nicolsen Series - can't remember who they're by
Uglies Trilogy - Scott Westerfield

I read the Uglies book. At first I read The Pretties casue I didn't know it was a trilogy. But I put it back and got the Uglies. I've only read the Uglies... I weirded me out at first, then I got used to it. They're pretty good.

What's the third one called?

The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Diary
House of Leaves

It's good.
the cover is kind of odd though. I almost didn't start reading it because of that, but I decided to anyways.
I don't entirely judge a book by a cover, but it took me a few year to finally read The Giver.

the clique seris (all of them)
the sisterhood of the traveling pants (haven't read #4 yet though)
Princess Diaries Seris
Flush (awesome)

Tsk tsk tsk...you all should know you are supposed to underline book titles...:sad2: lol!!

I have two favorites. The Turn of the Screw by Henry James and The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger.

The DaVinci Code

Harry Potter (Entire series)

Gathering Blue

Number the Stars

Lemony Snicket (Again, entire series)

Double Fudge

Among the Brave(And the rest of the series)

i heard that was fantastic. i just need to get ahold of it.

It's really bulky, and seems like a lot to take in at first, but it's really intriguing and grabs a hold of you (it's a little confusing at first though). I can't sing enough praise about this one! The illustrations (if you can call them that) make it really interesting as well.

i love:

the alice books by phyllis naylor reynolds(or something like that)
island girls and boys
sisterhood of the traveling pants
and a few others i forgot the names of.....lol

i am currently reading the drowning by valerie mendes.....:goodvibes

They aer comiing out with movies for those... they were filming downhte street...

And I don't have a favorite.......

All the books I like are so different, I can't compare, or even narrow it down to like, top 20.

Anything by Laurie Halse Anderson or Meg Cabot or Lois Lowry.
Or Gossip Girl series. Or Clique series.

Number the Stars - Lois Lowry
A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels - Libba Bray
My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult
The Awakening - Kate Chopin
Peter and the Starcatchers - Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson
The Glass Castle - Jeannette Walls

Keeping the Moon - Sarah Dessen For some reason that book has always been my favorite above all..

Tell It To Noami - I can't remember his name.
I love this book, it's kind of about a guy who manages to give a whole knew meaning to the word loser. That's not what it's really about, but the kid does give a whole new meaning to the word loser.
It's also written in a way I would write in one of my sarcastic moods.. and I love that voice.

I love that book. Great novel. Too bad Kate Chopin never got the support she should have for it. During the times, obviously, she was HIGHLY put down for writing something like that...I am sure you understand why ;)

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
3 Nights In August
America: The Book

Definitely, but Kate Chopin was always a woman ahead of her time. Nearly all of her stories and novels involve a woman defying society in some way. She never limited herself to what she should be writing or doing as a woman and that's what I admire about her. She deserved her reputation as "the littlest rebel."
