I just finished Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult, it was pretty good, great writing IMO! Kept me interested.

If you haven't read The Glass Castle yet, read it, it is a great book!

Twilight of course, fabulous series!

Water for Elephants was good too.

I recommend a book written by a friend of mine, Soul and Shadow by Susan McLeod. It is a nice light read, mystery with some romance and Egyptian history. Check out the reviews she has received.

I read slow, and any John Grisham book, or Nicholas Sparks book would be good for a quiet weekend.

One of the last John Grisham books that just came out in paperback is "Playing for Pizza". It is not a legal book, it's just a really good story, with lots of Italian food thrown in for fun. I was drooling the entire time I read it. Another J. Grisham that isn't about law is "Skipping Christmas:, I loved this book so much.

Why not head out to Goodwill and see what they have for $.99? I bought my first Nicholas Sparks book that way, thought I would give him a try, and I am hooked and enjoying all the books that have been out for years!

Oh yeah, LaraK and PrincessPac, I forgot about Celia Riverbark. If you want to laugh at her and yourself, any of her books are fantastic.

I just ordered this on amazon..I need all the help I can get. Guess there probably isn't a chapter on curling up in the Lazy Boy watching Judge Judy while eating Snickers bars, is there?

I just finished Brad Meltzer's The Book of Lies. It was very good and a fast read. A few minutes ago,I started Stuart Woods' Hot Mahogany. I love his books.
