I was getting ready to book a vacation for this december:santa: and was curious as to the best way to book. I usually book through a travel agent, but our travel agent (I just found out) just goes onto the disney website and reserves it that way. In other words, I can do that myself! Anyways, should I just call CRO, book online, or still stick with the travel agent? Which one has the best benefit and seems to work out the best. Thanks in advance.:goodvibes

I wouldn't book online the site seems to go out frequently. I would use CRO and the only TA I will use is Kingdomkonsultants.com Pam is wonderful. I have found that she is extremely helpful. If you want to make any changes when you book through a TA you have to do it through them if book through CRO you can call at anytime you would like to make what ever changes you want.

I currently have three reservations - May 1st - 4th, room only, booked online, August 25th, room only, booked through AAA and August 26th - 30th, package with free dining, booked through Disney travel. I've called to make requests for each reservation and have had no problem with the reservation made online and the reservation made through Disney travel. The AAA reservation requires that any requests be made through AAA. So I would say that it depends on how much control you want over your reservation/requests. I like to make any changes myself so I'll probably avoid booking through a travel agent in the future.

If you would want to switch resorts, like myself ;) When you call CRO what exactly would they have to do? Is it a pain in the butt for them? I don't want to make a big issue, just wanted to try somewhere new.

Its not an issue at all I have already changed my dates 3 times my resort 3 times and I still have been thinking about changing again. It is so much easier in this case if you go through CRO b/c you can call at any time you want to but is you use a TA you have to call them and then when they get the chance to call CRO they will.

Do they charge you anything if you switch resorts before the 45 day window? But I see that you switched enough, that I'm sure they don't.:rotfl:

:rotfl: Nope it they did charge me I would never be able to go by the time I finished. I would be broke from all of the changes.:lmao: Actually I believe you can make changes up until 48hrs before you arrive. I have never gone that long making changes but usually 1 month out I am completely ready to go w/ all of my adrs my resort/room choice and any other ressies I want to need.
