Boo To You and The Castle Suite Too! – A September 2013 TR

Well that was an unmagical way to leave the suite :sad2:

I do appreciate the picture of the throne though :lmao:

It must have been SO HARD to leave knowing you probably won't ever experience that again... at least the rest of us don't really know what we're missing! :rotfl:

That was such a special experience! All I can say is WOW! You are such a lucky family. I loved hearing about every minute of it! I can not wait to hear about the rest of your trip!:cool1:

I know, I was a little flustered when she said we needed to leave right then. I mean, I know we had to leave sometime, but it took me by surprise and I felt like I didn't get a proper goodbye and final check around the room!

Oh that throne! Only in Disney! :rotfl2:

I would have teared up at having to leave the castle suite, too!
It was sad! Especially since we had been dreaming about what it was going to be like, and looking forward to it for so long that it was sad when it was over. But I was mostly just so grateful to have the experience we did.

You are right about that! We'll never get lucky enough to have that experience again! That's why I just didn't want it to end.

I know we feel so lucky! I'm so glad you are enjoying the report!:goodvibes

After leaving the Castle Suite for the last time, we headed down to Cinderella’s Royal Table to have breakfast. This experience was included in our prize. We had been here for lunch a couple years ago and had a great experience, so we were all looking forward to eating here again. Our guide got us checked in. Someone is so excited!

Then we were escorted inside to meet Cinderella. The CM announced to Cinderella that we were the Royal Family, which was a nice touch. Cinderella told us she hoped that the Mice, Birds and Castle staff had made everything perfect for our stay. Of course we had rave reviews for her and thanked her over and over for having us as guests in her castle! :worship:

A few pictures of the lobby area where Cinderella meets. I just love the atmosphere here. The castle suite has a very similar theme and a lot of the same design elements.

We took a seat and waited a few minutes. Our guide told us they were getting our table ready and she wanted to make sure they gave us a good table by the window. While we waited the guide pointed out Cinderella’s mice to the kids. Alexa looked at them, then looked again. She swore they moved! She wanted to be sure I took a picture of them. It was cute.

Soon we headed up the stairs.

When we arrived our guide announced us as the Royal Family to the hostess and everyone around was kind to say Congratulations etc. We were escorted to our awesome table by the window. The kids were given their swords, wands and wishing stars. We also received our platter of fruit and assorted pastries as soon as we sat down.

Beside the rain and that pesky crane, we loved the view!

I noticed that our table runners were the same as the ones draped across the wooden chests at the foot of the beds in the Suite.

The Princesses were already making their way around the room, so we didn’t have to wait long before Snow White appeared. All the Princesses somehow knew we were the Royal Family and had stayed in the castle, so maybe the hostess told them? It made for a good conversation topic! Snow White was very sweet.

Next up was Aurora. We talked a little about the Castle Suite and she said to Alexa… "Were you the little Tinkerbell in the elevator yesterday?” We thought it was awesome she remembered her! Of course it’s not everyday she runs into a kid using that elevator.

Then came the Wishing Ceremony! Alexa took this very serious!

Ariel was next. I loved her new dress.

continued in next post.............

Then finally it was Jasmine's turn. Alexa was excited to see her coming and proclaimed to us that she was her favorite princess. She said she was going to tell her that.

When Jasmine came to greet her, she got all shy and couldn't tell her at first. She finally got the courage to tell her and gave her a big hug. Jasmine got a kick out of that.

Carson actually seemed to be really enjoying himself chatting with the Princesses and getting his picture taken. However, when I asked him what he thought of all this Princess stuff, this is what I got:
:rotfl2:

Jasmine was the last Princess and right as she left our food arrived. Perfect timing! I didn't take any food pictures, but Brandon and I both got the steak and eggs which was very good. The kids both got a basic breakfast platter with eggs, French toast sticks and bacon. We also had a platter of assorted pastries and fruit to share. Our service was excellent! Our waitress was super sweet and originally from Ohio like us. She was excited to hear we won a trip with a night in the castle and wanted to know all about it.

Once breakfast was over we headed back down the steps were I got a few more pictures. This sweet girl really loved this meal! :lovestruc

This breakfast was the perfect way to end our stay in the castle. Character interaction, food, service and atmosphere….A+++. I also love that the kids get a souvenir and a printed picture to take home. All and all a wonderful morning!

After breakfast we needed to stop at the Castle Suite lobby to pick up our stroller and say goodbye to the guides, but first we stopped by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to get Alexa a fresh dusting of pixie dust. The BBB hostess was impressed her hair still looked so good.

We were only inside for 2 minutes, so Brandon and Carson waited just outside the door of the BBB. Our guide seen them and brought over the stroller and our bag and left. I guess there wouldn't be a final goodbye in the lobby after all? :confused3 This officially ended our Castle Suite experience. You know that clock in the lobby that ALWAYS stays at 11:59 and promises to never hit midnight so the magic NEVER ends? …..well at that moment we felt like it hit midnight. :faint: Our magical castle stay was over and our Royal Family had turned back into peasants. :rotfl: And to top it all off….it was still raining! :rolleyes2

Joking aside, our Castle Suite experience was just so amazing! It was more than we could have ever hoped for and we were so lucky to have the experience….the highlight of our trip! :cloud9:Our castle stay was over, but our awesome trip was not done yet! :cool1:As much as I LOVED our stay in the castle, being on our own now made me feel relaxed and excited to take our time and explore the Magic Kingdom at our own pace. Brandon agreed! We had a couple more days and lot to look forward to at the most magical place on earth! Now that the castle part is over, I hope you don’t abandon this report. I hope you all continue to follow along as I finish the rest of our trip. The rest of the report should go a lot faster since I won’t go into as much detail as I did with the Castle Suite experience. Thanks for being here.

Mostly lurking, but loving every update! I'm subbed, and staying for the rest. :)

Carson was over the top excited about seeing Space with the lights on. It's his dream to ride it or RNRC with the lights on! Someone will be pretty happy on Christmas morning when Santa brings him this:

Seeing the castle turned down was my favorite part of our stay. It was beautiful and my pictures just don't do it justice!

Oh wow, that is a great gift!! I'm sure Carson is going to be SO excited! Where did you find it?

Oh I'm so sorry that you guys were rushed out of the castle suite. That really stinks  But maybe a longer drawn out goodbye would have made you even more sad?

I'm so glad that your family got to experience the castle suite! You have so many wonderful memories that most people only dream of pixiedust:

And what a wonderful breakfast with the princesses. CRT was one of our favs! My kiddos found those mice when we were waiting in line meet Cinderella too and they were so excited to point them out to her. Darn, I didn't think to take a picture of them though. And how cute that Snow White remembered seeing Alexa in the elevator!

Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your day in MK. (At least I know that the rain is going to stop.... ;))

Sounds like you had an awesome stroke of luck here...what a great experience!

It's been almost 2.5 years since our last trip and we've had a ton of huge life changes in our world...we are all jonesing for a trip to Mickey's House but reading this put a smile on my face...thank you!

Just joined in on your trip report and I am loving it! I am starting to plan our next trip for December right now and you are get me excited!

Oh my gosh. I hadn't realized they changed up Ariels dress now too. That is the first picture I have seen of it. I will need to go look for more now.

What a fabulous stay. And I wouldn't have been able to sleep either.

I would've been annoyed about them asking us to be packed up before breakfast though. did you tell them that they told you after? I would've probably forgotten things too if I had to rush.

What a fabulous fairy tale you got to live!:wizard:

I'm sad with you that your Castle Suite experience was over! Seems like they kind of rushed you out, and that is truly a bummer. I wonder if they had another family coming in they needed to be ready for or something?? Still, seems like they could have let you savor it for at least a few more minutes!

The princess breakfast looks wonderful. How sweet that all of the Princesses knew you were the Royal Family! I'm sure that was a really wonderful experience for Alexa. :goodvibes

Can't wait to read how the rest of your magical trip was!

I'm still here and will follow along with you to the end too! What an unbelievable experience for your family and you have the pictures to remember it all by.

Very cool that Aurora remembered the "Tinkerbell from the elevator"!

Wow, what an amazing experience - both the Castle Suite AND the Halloween Party with all the VIP access. :goodvibes Thank you so much for posting all the photos and details, it's so neat to hear about it! Can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip! :)

It may seem funny to be relieved that your family was on its own again, but I totally get it! You shouldn't have to feel "on" on vacation. Can't wait to hear what happens next!

Your breakfast looks like it was so much fun!

How very un-Disney like at the very end there. That was kind of a bummer! But the rest of the experience makes up for it I am sure.

I am sticking around for sure, I can not wait to hear about the rest of your trip. I am sure the magic isn't over yet!

What a magical night and morning. Can't wait to read about the rest of your magical trip. :wizard:
