Boo to me! - Solo Halloween PTR 10/22-29 - Link to TR posted!

That top 10 is a very interesting concept, especially with having a Disneyland concept. My WDW top 10 would be drastically different from my DLR top 10, but you have given me a great idea to put into my PTR. I've been writing the installments and once I have 10 installments, I plan on releasing them about 1 week at at time, since this trip is sooooooo far out. I figure that if I have 10 ready to go, then I will be able to have somewhat fresh new material for a while until I get to the point where I can actually make my reservations and have something concrete to report about like actually booking and flights, until then I'll just be sharing wishes!

I will definitely include a top 10 of WDW rides!

Love your top 10....you know, I don't think I've ever done the Great Movie Ride. Hopefully we can do it together.

I'll be watching you on ToT. I was in a lift that did it's own free fall for real for 5 or 6 floors and I think I might pass whilst you go on this one :)

That would be fun :) I really like that ride. Some people say it's boring or cheesy or both, but I like it :)

God, that must have really sucked :( I totally understand not wanting to go on ToT after that, though

I got the idea from Nermel9, and (as you know) I've never been to DLR, so I can only do a WDW top 10 so far :lmao: And hey, sharing wishes could always be worse :) At least these are wishes that have a strong chance of coming true pixiedust:

Great top 10! I can't believe I left Haunted Mansion off my list, that's one of my favorites too!!!

We are part of a new "trendy" health movement, and believe me this is the only area in which we are "trendy"! :rotfl2: We have a primary care physician who is what they call a "conceirge doctor". We pay a flat fee annually (well we make quarterly credit card payments) and it includes an annual physical and ANYTHING else that we need. We can call her at any time of day or night, and she will actually answer her phone. I've called her at 2AM and she didn't pick up, but she called me right back when she came to consciousness.

She is a great person and in a doctorly way is also our friend. We have gone to concerts with her, she came to our wedding and she rocked the dance floor. If we have anything wrong, we can call her and she will call in prescriptions or meet with us, even on a Sunday (which she has done in the past.) One time about a week before her first knee surgery Fran had scratched her shin raw. We emailed the DR pictures of the wound, she called in a prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy. The surgery Dr. would have cancelled Fran's surgery but since she got on antibiotics the Sunday before surgery he was able to approve her.

She makes medical stuff so easy, it's insane. We need the insurance for the prescriptions and other specialists, but having Dr. J (as we call her) it makes medical stuff much more streamlined. We do pay OOP for dental as there really isn't insurance in the US that covers dental well.

That's actually a good concept! I don't think it's reached us up here in New England because I haven't heard about it yet...but it sounds good from what you say! :thumbsup2 Very interesting!

My sister might be, but I don't know, since she has a kid.

If she's not married, she can, but the baby probably can't. It depends on what the policy allows. Sometimes, they allow 3rd generation kids onto the plan, but usually not.

Great top 10! I can't believe I left Haunted Mansion off my list, that's one of my favorites too!!!

I left it off mine too, and my BF yelled at me! But mine was a list of all attractions, not just rides, and there were too many to be able to include them all!

:lmao: I know I left some great rides, but these are the ten that I could (and have in the past) ride over and over again.

I'll have to let her know that :) She and her BF aren't married :lmao: Jade is on a state insurance plan, since she's still so young (today's her birthday, actually!). I'm not sure (and don't really care) about the BF's situation.

:lmao: That's funny :) I don't have anyone to yell at me for leaving stuff off my list, though :)

This is completely unrelated to my PTR, but today's my niece's 4th birthday!

This was her and my sister when she was 1 :) I don't have any current pics online, but she's at ballet class tonight, which means that we'll be getting some new pics and videos tonight.

This is a video of her at last week's class: http://www.youtube.com/user/jaydedink She's the one in the little skirt and the headband.

I've never done Spaceship Earth or People Mover...that will hopefully change this trip.

Greg doesn't like that EE goes backwards, either. I actually think he'd prefer to sit this one out. I think I'll give him that option this trip.

I like Rock n' Roller Coaster but I don't love it. I'll do it this trip only b/c I know my cousin will want to. I got pretty nauseous after it last time.

ToT is a must for me. Last trip was the first time I had my eyes open when you "get off" on the floor. :scared1:

My arm hurt so bad after TSMM! I am not going to try in the practice round. I don't think I'm going to tell Greg either, I'll let his arm get weaker faster. :lmao:

I like GMR too! I really want to get the Cowboy version. I've only been on it twice but both times I've gotten the Gangster version.

I've been on Jungle Cruise once, on our honeymoon. I wasn't wowed by it. But after hearing so much about it on the DIS, I think I am going to give it another shot.

HM and POTC are definitely in my top ten as well. The nostalgia I feel for those rides is just amazing. I'm getting butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it!

Other favorites of mine that aren't in your Top 10 list: (these necessarily aren't my top 10, either)

-Space Mountain
-It's a Small World (which is CLOSED this trip :sad2: )
-Festival of the Lion King
-Animation Academy
-Soarin'
-Philhar Magic

Apparently my reply to this never posted :confused3

I think Jungle Cruise really depends on your skipper, to be honest. If you have a good one, it's great. If not, then it kinda sucks.

I can't believe you guys are leaving so soon!

Today's October 1. Which means not only am I going in THREE WEEKS (I'll actually be leaving my house at this time in three weeks :lmao:), I can officially say I'm going to Disney this month! :yay: :yay:

Yes, it's the little things that make me happy. Combine that with Vicodin and I get more silly than normal :lmao:

Unbe...frigging..lievable. It comes round quick, doesn't it.

Say....when are you heading to DLR? I forget which month...

:lmao: I know, I just replied to it :teeth: So, basically, you have six weeks left until your trip! Yay! :yay:

:lmao: I just love how we all get excited over the most arbitrary things. I told my coworker that I can say I'm going to Disney this month and she just looked at me like " uh huh, yeah, whatever" and went back to her cleaning :lmao:

I KNEW it! I knew if we waited long enough, we'd find out that there was SOMETHING wrong with your new co-worker! :lmao:
