Well because of the addiction to Disneyworld I finally pulled the trigger on a new rv that I can fit my family in and be comfortable for the long haul from Phoenix to Orlando. I already booked the fort for June 2016 and plan on purchasing annual passes so we can stretch out the parks and enjoy the fort. My kids have 2.5 weeks off of school starting September 25th and we don't have to return until Wednesday October 15th. My kids want to do potter so I was thinking maybe staying off site and save a few $$$ and try the tropical palms trailer park. On the other hand I checked and the fort is available and is below the $100 mark during my stay. Diesel fuel cost is low right now too but I don't want to spoil the summer trip with too much fort.
I also considered staying at two different rv parks but I hate moving campsites. Any input on alternate rv parks in the area? Should I just stay at the fort and do universal and no Disney? Or should I take the universal tickets cost and apply towards the passes for fall and summer?
