Bonus 500 Reward Points

Hello All!
So I called Disney Visa today to transfer some reward dollars because I'm doing the week out happy dance! We get to chatting and I mention I'm a DVC member and she asked why I didn't have my 500 bonus reward dollars as I put the down payment for DVC on my Disney visa. I told her that my guide had mentioned it in October, but when we bought in Feb. he didn't say anything about it. We'd had to put our purchase on hold because DH and I were in a bad car accident. She said that I needed to call my guide because we should have received the 500 bonus reward dollars if we purchased in Feb. I have a call into my guide, but has anyone else heard of something like this? That would certainly come in handy since I'll be heading home next weekend and again when we go home in Dec.

Did you get the $500 gift card as one of your incentives to buy DVC at SSR? If so, I and others here were told we could not get both the gift card and the 500 bonus points. The ole double dipper. That is the only problem I have heard with the offer.

I bought a few weeks ago and got the 500 rewards put on my disney visa.
What a nice incentive...
