Bonnet Creek

I am interested in renting a 4 bedroom penthouse unit at Bonnet Creek. I can't find one available ANYWHERE. Anyone out there know how I can get one? We would like to go the week of October 11th.

Are you ready to pay the cost? Most 4 BR units at Wyndhams are only reserved as a treat for a family and friends for 2-4 days. Few ever use all the points it would take to reserve a full week unless they are rolling in excess points and don't care what they cost in annual fees. A rare combination to find.

The 4 bedrooms are usually Presidential suites, beautiful, extremely large and loaded with extra features. We stayed in one once and have visited about 6 different ones at various Wyndham locations. All were nice but we'd be hard pressed to say it's worth all those points to use.

Also...try a google search for Bonnet Creek rentals as well as Fairfield Fairshare Plus and Wyndham Vacations to see if any others pop up that I can't think of at the moment. I know there are other places, but I'm having brain drain!

(Wyndham actually now owns the place.)

If you can find a Fairfield owner with a lot of points, they may be able to get you in there. That's how I rented for 12 days instead of two consecutive weeks. (We booked two separate reservations for each Sunday and I only had to pay for the 12 nights not 14.

There are not very many 4BR units at the resort and most of them get reserved at 13 months out by owners. The week you are interested in would be 347,000 points, so you could probably find someone to rent it to you for ~2,500 (less if reserved <60 days out), if they could get the reservation. These are hard reservations to get (I'd like to have a 4BR too), and I'm VIP Plat, but I waited too long to make reservation. If I get lucky I may find a cancellation.

Isn't that the holiday week? That will make it tougher. Orlando is much tighter that week than the rest of the month IME.

I rented a couple of other resorts from a Fairfield owner a few years ago. If you want to contact him, send me your email address and I'll dig out his. He'll be willing to try, I'm sure, but I wouldn't be too hopeful.
