Bonnet creek - some questions for a first timer

I know I posted this before but I never saw any replies. We will be staying at Bonnet Creek in September and were curious on a few things. First we were curious what side of the resort we needed to stay on to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom and Epcot? Also does anyone know which towers are closest to the pools? Finally we were curious about transportation? Do the shuttles run all day? Do they stop early or can you stay at the parks till closing? Do they only run to the parks or do they run to other places? We will have a car just in case but we were trying to plan our week.

Fireworks: when you call to make a request, just ask for a "fireworks view". There are several buildings at different areas of the resort that have them.

Pools: there are currently three open pools, so none of the buildings is super-far from one or the other of them. I'd just request the fireworks view, as that gives them the best chance of meeting that request.

Shuttles: they are scheduled, to the parks and DTD, but they are shared-destination. I would absolutely use my car.

We stayed in Building 5 and had excellent views of the fireworks at MK and Epcot. The new pool just opened there (pictures on another thread), and it looks GREAT! It's only a short walk (2-3 minutes on the lakeside walkway) to the main activities building.

I've been told there are some units that are both lakeview and fireworks view, but I was very pleased with the unit we had. I don't know if all parts of building 5 have the same direct view though. When you make your request, I would ask for the view that shows both sets of fireworks.

My daughter just got back from her honeymoon, and they stayed in building 1. She said that they could only see one set of fireworks (said the room we had at Christmas had a better fireworks view plus we could see Downtown Disney).

going to be there during the food/wine festavial at Epcot - so was thinking about a night or two take the shuttle.

so how are they shared - and how much longer coming back from the parks does that add?
